The New York Immigration Coalition will host a Know-Your-Rights workshop presented by the Immigrant
Defense Project and the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights on the deportation program
known as “Secure Communities,” and other collaborations between local police and ICE. This workshop
is for community members.
Come learn:
- What S-Comm is and how it works (including here in New York State!)
- How to protect your rights when dealing with the police and ICE.
- How you can get involved to spread knowledge in your community!
